Amritha Subramanian

Amritha joined Kingfish Group in 2008 and shares responsibility for the firm’s public and private investment partners. Recent work includes sector initiatives in post-secondary education, food, testing, and transportation.

Previously, Amritha was a Graduate Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she completed graduate coursework in Political Science and focused her research on the intersection of technology, politics, and communities. Amritha also helped launch Glassbooth.org, a non-profit website that is creating innovative ways to access political information.

Amritha has worked for the United States State Department at the United States Embassy in New Delhi, India and graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
