Jonathan is a Founder and Partner of Kingfish Group. He leads firm strategy and organizational development, with a particular focus on assembling and guiding high performing teams.

He has over 20 years of experience in private equity investing and company building. He has founded two firms, most recently co-founding Kingfish Group where he grew the company from a start-up organization into a high-performing organization of over 40 individuals operating across multiple offices in San Francisco, Boston, Denver, Washington DC and Pune, India. Over the past 10+ years, the firm has advised on over $10 billion in private equity transactions and made direct equity investments into over 25 private companies.

Previously, Jonathan co-founded Tropos Networks (acquired by ABB). At Tropos, Jonathan defined the sales, marketing and product strategy that helped bring a category defining product to market. To date, Tropos wireless systems have been deployed at over 1,000 customers in 50+ countries worldwide.

Prior to Tropos, Jonathan was an investment professional at JAFCO America Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm. He was also a consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Jonathan graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Economics and English.
