J.T. has over 20 years of private equity, M&A, and financing experience. Prior to Kingfish, J.T. was a Managing Director at Perseus, LLC, a middle-market private equity fund management company with total capital raised of $1.6 billion, where he focused on buyout and growth equity investments with a primary focus on the healthcare sector. Prior to Perseus, J.T. was in the Consumer, Healthcare and Retail Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan, where he provided advice on M&A and debt and equity financings to large corporate and middle-market clients. Prior to J.P. Morgan, J.T. was in the Healthcare Banking Group at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. providing financing to emerging and middle-market medical device and healthcare services companies.

J.T. graduated from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia with an M.B. A and from from James Madison University with a B.B.A.
