Prior to Kingfish, Zainab worked at PharmaACE as an Analyst, where she conducted market research in the pharmaceutical industry.

Zainab graduated from Abasaheb Garware College with a M.S. and from Nowrosjee Wadia College with a B.S. in Biotechnology.
